鋼好想積Gunpla Japanese Retail Prices, in Your Currency
鋼好想積 (gbuybuy.com) is a free, unofficial Gunpla price lookup site. It lists the official Japanese retail prices (tax included) of 2,695 BANDAI model kits, including HG, RG, MG, PG, SD and more, and converts them to your currency with live exchange rates.
The site is written in Traditional Chinese for players in Taiwan, but prices and kit names work for everyone. This page explains how to use it.
Why check the Japanese price?
Gunpla prices outside Japan vary a lot between shops, importers and resellers. The Japanese retail price is the baseline that every other price is built on. Knowing it helps you tell whether a deal is fair, compare proxy-buying costs, or plan purchases for a trip to Japan.
1. Switch the currency
Use the gold currency button at the top right of every page. You can choose:
- US$ (USD), € (EUR), HK$ (HKD), S$ (SGD), RM (MYR), ฿ (THB), ₩ (KRW), CN¥ (CNY), NT$ (TWD), or ¥ (JPY only)
All prices on the site then switch to that currency. Your choice is saved in your browser, so you only need to do this once.
2. Search for a kit
The search box on the home page matches Chinese and Japanese names. Kit names follow BANDAI Japan, so most mobile suit names are in Japanese katakana. Search tips:
- Search by grade, e.g. RG or MG.
- Search by model number, e.g. RX-78-2.
- Copy a Japanese name from the table below. Each link opens the search results directly.
| Mobile suit | Search with |
|---|---|
| RX-78-2 Gundam | RX-78-2 |
| Gundam Aerial | エアリアル |
| Unicorn Gundam | ユニコーン |
| Freedom Gundam | フリーダム |
| Nu Gundam | νガンダム |
| Sazabi | サザビー |
| Gundam Barbatos | バルバトス |
| Gundam Exia | エクシア |
| Wing Gundam Zero | ウイングガンダムゼロ |
| Zaku II | ザク |
3. Read a kit page
Each kit page shows the grade, scale, Japanese price, converted price, release date and sales channel. Kits marked 限定 are limited editions, usually sold only through Premium Bandai or THE GUNDAM BASE. Every kit page links to the official BANDAI product page, so you can confirm the latest details.

About the prices
- Prices are BANDAI's official Japanese retail prices including 10% consumption tax, collected from the BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Site (2026-11-02). The list is updated weekly.
- Converted prices use market reference rates and are for comparison only. Actual prices in shops, shipping and import fees will differ.
- Tourists can often buy tax-free in Japan, so the price may be about 10% lower than the price shown.
